The whole of the Dorset coast is a world heritage site and has stunning cliffs, beautiful beaches and is a fossil-hunters paradise. The South West coastal path is nearby and so are ancient woodlands and monuments and various museums. Further up the coast towards Lyme Regis you can find guided fossil walks.
In Bridport, there is the twice weekly local produce and antique market, street cafes, art venue and Electric Palace Cinema. The famous Buckydoo Square, with it's street entertainers, is just a few steps away from The Barn.
We are a peaceful oasis with a sunny cottage garden and breakfast patio area. Whilst being central to the town's many attractions, it can be used as a base for seeing so much more. There is horse riding, sea and shore fishing, as well as sea trips.
Nearby West Bay is a working harbour with fish restaurants. The reknowned Riverside Fish Restaurant can be found here.Why not stop enroute at The Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock - you won't be disappointed. Alternatively, try The Soulshine Cafe, just a hop over the road on South Street in Bridport.
You will not get a warmer welcome than at The Barn but you will also have privacy to relax and enjoy your holiday break.
